 MINERWA Company from Nowy Targ has specialized in production of
sewn headgear for almost ten years. In that time, the company has gained recognition of
its female clients. The company owes its market success to high quality products
(excellent materials and sewing precision) sold at reasonable prices, which is the result
of production scale. Each collection stands out for its color and selection range thus
meeting demand of the choosiest clients. The company prepares two collections per year:
summer and fall/winter collection. Altogether, around forty models of various headgears
are produced annually. Products are designed by Mrs. Barbara Potoczek who tries to combine
in her work new trends in fashion with tradition.
Summer hats and caps are made exclusively of natural cotton, pure linen or natural silk, which guarantees comfort even during the warmest summer days.
On each Sunday, you may meet many people wearing regional clothes in the Podhale towns and villages. Highlander's outfit is very rich; it may be finished with ribbons, manually embroidered with beads, sequins, or colored soft thread. |

The fall/winter collection includes hats,
caps and berets of diversified designs and functions - some warmer, some more decorative,
but all in accordance with the slogan that during fall and winter heads should be
stylishly dressed. MINERWA offers products made of traditional materials such as wool and
cotton velvet, as well as new semi-synthetic fibers. A range of colors follows trends in
fashion in a given season. 
The second and equally important field of operations is regional
clothing. The region of Podhale, where the company is based, is probably the only one in
Poland where traditional folk outfits are worn not only by music and dance groups but a
considerable number of inhabitants wears them during family celebrations, on national and
church holidays, and other occasions.
